Just being yourself

someone comes out
of the curtains
and hands you a
note with love
all over it.
A while later
I said I hadn’t
read it yet.
She said: “That’s
O.K. You can read
it when you get
home.”
Only met her
2 hrs. before–
6 years old, said
in a smile: “I
will miss you.”
” I Like You,”
in another smile.
