Life’s Lessons

Sometimes you learn

more

at the ‘end’ of life.

It took you a while

to grow up.

School mostly slowed

your progress in

the important lessons.

Useful awakenings that

endeared you to your

fellow man.

It seems you were

too busy fighting with

life to learn them.

You had to give up

and release.

Then they all flowed in.

You made room.

I’m not sure if there’s

a shortcut to this

process but I bet

there is one.
