Being a Kid

If you’re a kid

3 years old

you don’t

care about

anything

but playing

and having fun,

being in the moment

doing what strikes

your fancy.

Spontaneous is your

middle name.

There’s not much

you’re really afraid

of–never having

failed at much,

you think anything

is possible.

And you’re willing

to try and learn

any new skill–which

there are lots of them

at your age.

You “shop” (play) until

you drop.

Even then,

at bedtime,

nap time,

you’d rather keep going.

You’re going to major

in playing for the next

5 or 10 years until you

start to get “serious”

about life.
