Today I watched
the Sun.
It’s always there,
but I looked up
to see for sure.
It was hot to
face the Sun,
whereas going
about my business
taking for granted
the switch is
turned on
and I can
see without
enabling “extra”
light–and not
getting billed
for it, seemed
like a great
bargain.
The Sun’s the
ultimate
philanthropist.
