Inertia

Waterfalls on Tropic Ditch. Bryce National Park, Utah

Sometimes it’s hard

to make a move

out of inertia.

Once the ball is roll-

ing, however,

it’s almost

impossible to stop.

Momentum carries

it forward

until “completion”,

or tiredness sets in.

So, then you have

to begin again

and start all

over creating

momentum

for movement

forward

toward your

goal.

So, the moral is:

make the first,

hesitatingly,

tentative, move.

And then do

it again,

until you’re

rolling easily

forward.
