Fairness

I don’t want to

cheat–with people.

I don’t want to

overpower

or be unfair.

I don’t want to

dodge

the issues.

I want to…feel

–the pain

and then

let it go.

I want to

shuck my

cowardice

and not whine

or complain.

I just want to

get on with

my life–no

matter the

losses in battle.

Casualties  will

be had

but I will

fight fair

if I have to

“fight”.

Those who

look (up) to

me for

guidance

deserve no

less.
