Lifeblood Water

If it weren’t for water

well, I guess our planet

wouldn’t be here with life,

but on a personal level,

I love water.

Showers & baths, rain

& snow & hail; lakes,

ponds, streams, rivers.

Even the ocean which

is further away–else

I might fall in love

with it, too.

Dehydration has its

place, for sure, in

concert with the

moisture it removes.

Food appreciates it

as more portable

& concentrated.

But water has to

be there before it

can be removed.

Clean, clear water.

Our planet is in

quest of such

a commodity.

Her survival

requires it.

It will be

ensured by a

friendly, unhostile

environment.
