Path with early spring growth. Silver Falls State Park, Oregon
I walked in the rain
the sun was not
to be seen today
birds
and
flowers
and
budding
Blackberries
and plants
of every sort
were at my
beck and
call.
Only I
came to
them
as they
are more
permanently
rooted.
Rainy walks
are more
solitary
and peaceful
than fair
weather ones.
