Fishing

Perrigrin Falcon. Oregon High Desert Museum. Central Oregon

A white hawk

appeared seemingly

out of nowhere

flapped its wings

a couple times,

hovering, folded

them back, & into a

dive it went over the

river.

Splash!  It completely

submerged.

In a second or two it

broke water &

began flapping again

with eight inches of

fish in its talons.

My, what eyesight

and sharp aim!
