In & Out

I love/appreciate

having shelter,

warmth, in the winter.

Yet, my body craves

fresh air–

being shut up in

enclosed spaces all

night & day.

The clouds are separating.

Blue is appearing.

Fog, a distant memory.

The day is inviting again.

It doesn’t take that

to get me out–

yet often the solitude of

inclemency is more

appealing than the

sunshine’s

cheerfulness.

So either way,

just get me

out the door!
