A Raindrop

Ginko leaves with rain drops.

Gingko with leaves.

If I was a raindrop

I’d let go

and just fall to earth.

If the wind had other ideas,

I guess I would just have to go

with the flow.

It’s kind of cold inside the cloud

crowded together with others

who are also all wet.

Yet, we can travel great

distances together

before we let go to a

new life below.

We may even lose our

identity to a river or

a lake.

Maybe staying awhile,

maybe on the move

again soon.

The life of a raindrop

has more possibilities

than you may
