Silence & Quiet

Invite the quiet in

open your arms

to spend some time

with it

to sit awhile

and reside within.

Unconditionally, bring it all

close to you–the ‘perfect silence’

and the ‘not so perfect’ silence.

Being unconditional,

you wouldn’t even notice

any ‘imperfections’ in its

essence, its character.

Quietness dwells within

and can be called from

there, also.

In fact, that’s where it

originates

& you can call it

back in from all

its scattered hecticness.

Sit awhile with it.  It’s your

friend.

It’s a shame you don’t

hang out with it more

often as such a rare

and valuable commodity

it is these days.
