‘Risking’ Being Seen

To get past the facade

is the major task

in life.

We all have it.

Being who we’re

to save our “real”

selves for some

‘safe’ time & place.

To let down the

cloak of secrecy

of who we really

are–not even

we knew it

until it’s let

out of the bag–

then the jig

is up–we’re

caught being

ourselves, left

to the judgment

of the gallows

if they so choose.
