Clouds

I like clouds.  I often

have a mashed potato fetish

with big, cumulus, puffy

billowing, smoke arising,

white as a ghost, clouds.

Minimal color in this

visualization–white on blue.

They present emptiness.  A way

to hide out within their

shifting confines.

Maybe meet a UFO inside

while you’re in there.

An imaginary work of art

as we sculpt in our minds

the figures we see in

the moving borders

and finally evaporation!
