Trust

I’m not sure I can

trust myself if I just

went with my whims,

my fancy fantasies.

I get rather expensive

desires on a (seemingly)

limited budget.

Limits are only that–

thoughts I

make up to maybe

stay safe & not risk

anything:

I might succeed,

then what? or fail

‘waste’ my time,

make a mistake.

So I impose a

‘limit’, a negative

idea I subscribe to

because of fear.

I go nowhere.

That seems

rather empty.

I think I’ll go with

trusting myself.
