Passages

To go from here to there

requires some movement.

A change stirs the pot

mixes the flavors

and in time a new

recipe is formed.

You hold on because

there’s little else to do

when change grabs ahold

of your peaceful waters

and a stormy transformation

ensues.

When the winds subside,

you’re once again peaceful

existence is restored.

You’ve been blown ahead

on your path–wind at

your back and all around

tumultuous sails all but

ripped to shreds but you’re

in a new land leaving all

the old behind, thankfully.

Passages will return of

intensity, so you’ll know

to hold on until a peaceful

respite is restored.
