Miracles

Logged another day on planet Earth.

Maybe I can make it to Earth Day

this Saturday, unscathed.

In one piece, one peace.

A miracle could happen–

what I’d consider a miracle

at any moment, if I’m open

to such a thing transpiring

since, really, they’re few & far

between, when I consider

something miraculous.

It usually surprises me

because these occasions are so

uncommon, or irregularly

scheduled by the powers

that be, I never look for them.

If they’re coming, great!  I don’t

know how I could pump up

the (miracle) machine to produce

more & make my life more

exciting possibly or whether

I have to “wait my turn”

and have to take what’s offered, so

to speak.

Still, I’m open to extra-

ordinary events (favorable)

occurring in my life to

enhance it and make it

all the more richer in experiences.
